Haircut

Teaching Rayan similes and metaphors, as used in poetry. So, wrote the following lines on a topic he understands all too well. As it's his lament every two months or so, I hope he can relate to the poem and grasp the concepts.

HAIRCUT (29/11/2015)
----------------------------------

My head looks like a silly lawn,
That had been mowed afresh.
My hair, they bow and jump back on,
With every stroke of brush.

My hair when long, made my face look round,
It was a bright full moon.
What's it now, but a chicken egg,
That has been laid too soon.

I could style my hair as was my wish,
And gel them to a shine.
But now my head has a singular look,
Like the back of a porcupine.

😜😝
